AG Kidmin Welcomes Kelly Presson

New Kid on the Block

by Mark Entzminger / June 14, 2017

We are happy to announce the appointment of Kelly Presson as leadership development coordinator for the national Assemblies of God Children’s Ministries Agency.

Kelly has served in children and youth ministries for the past 22 years. His most recent assignments include youth and children’s minister in Cabot, Ark., children’s ministries coordinator for the Arkansas District, and his last assignment, full-time children’s pastor at Christian Celebration Center in Midland, Mich.

His impact on children’s lives has involved him in numerous children’s camps as speaker/evangelist throughout the U.S. He has served as the executive director of Mid-Michigan Royal Family Kids Camp (a camp for children who have been adjudicated as abused/neglected), and is internationally known as a fervent teacher of student leadership skills. He has been invited to teach at conferences in five different countries.

Kelly will be working to strengthen the existing network of children’s ministry leaders. He will find ways to connect like-minded leaders and provide resources to equip them for increased effectiveness. Currently there are more than 13,000 churches in the Assemblies of God USA. Nearly all of them have some form of ministry to children, which means the job of training and equipping these leaders is massive.

Kelly and his wife, Traci, have one son, Jacob. They are looking forward to connecting with you in the months ahead.

When you meet Kelly at an upcoming event, please be sure to introduce yourself. But more importantly, be ready to join the conversation. Truly, we are better when we all work together.
