Let’s face it, you have enough going on in your own church to really spend a large amount of time investing in another ministry.
But there are some simple ways you can invest in another children’s ministry that won’t take up too much time. And you never know, there just might be some hidden benefits when you reach out.
- Recycled Curriculum: After you finish your curriculum series, consider investing it into another church.
- Stage Design: Do you have stage design elements that will get stored for decades? Why not take that painted styrofoam and gift it to a ministry down the street.
- Community Outreach: Instead of doing a community outreach with your church alone, consider inviting other churches to participate. They may not be able to do this on their own, but would love to participate in something you are doing. Co-brand it and hold it at a local school.
- Lending Library: After you have read the latest leadership book, consider passing it to another children’s pastor in your community. After they read it, go for a cup of coffee and discuss it.
